A Very Bonzo Christmas

Corbn Andrick - Sax

Andrew Lawrence - Keys

Andrew Vogt - Bass

Zack Marks - Drums

An annual tradition that started 8 years ago as a gift to the band, bassist Andrew Vogt arranged a batch of Christmas songs for the group to play, fitting snugly on top of existing Bonzo Squad music. In February 2023, they took that music into Rax Trax Studios and recorded it for future holidays, when they will all be too fat and lazy to fit into their elf costumes.

The result was “A Very Bonzo Christmas,” an 8-track album chock-full of holiday smash. The album also guest features fantastic Chicagoan musicians including Zach Brock, Atlys String Quartet, Matt Gold, Constantine Alexander and Anders Nordstrom. "A Very Bonzo Christmas" is now available on vinyl and on all streaming platforms.

“Bonzo Squad has crafted more than just an album; they've created a holiday experience. It's a journey through the snowy landscapes of jazz, a celebration of the season's magic, and a reminder that good music has the power to transcend time and tradition. As you immerse yourself in the delightful sounds of Bonzo Squad's festive arrangements, you'll find yourself embracing the holiday spirit with newfound enthusiasm. This album is a jazz-infused Christmas gem that deserves a permanent spot in your holiday music collection. Get ready to swing into the season with 'A Very Bonzo Christmas' – it's the musical gift that keeps on giving.”
